Economic Business weeks Tilburg
Tilburg University provides you with everything you need for your academic career. As an econometrician, you will probably have enough companies who want you, even before graduation. Therefore, your challenge will most likely lie in finding a job that best suits you and your competences. Each year the Economic Business weeks Tilburg aims to link students to companies, providing an opportunity to start careers and to discover unforeseen career paths. Join the EBT, which will take place from the 10th of April until the 25th of April, and start looking for your dream job.
Attending career events, and focusing on your future, is important. Most of the students do not know for what company they would like to work or even in which industry. The EBT offers you a playing field. Want to check out the field of consultancy? In the first week of the EBT a new branch specific day will be organized, namely the Consultancy Orientation Day. A.T. Kearney, The Boston Consulting Group, and Roland Berger offer you and 35 other students a chance to show and test your skills. During the 5 Company Days that follow (where over 50(!) companies are welcomed to the campus of Tilburg University) you can orientate yourself during company presentations from for example SeederDeBoer, ProRail, De Nederlansche Bank or NN Group. Attend workshops from Accenture, Albert Heijn or Deloitte. See more options during a one-to-one conversation with DAF Trucks, ING Bank or PostNL or join a luxurious Business Lunch. On April 24, FrieslandCampina offers you an opportunity to get to know the company both formally and informally.
To be able to stand out during application procedures, you should be prepared. Therefore the EBT offers, besides a link to the business world, training sessions in soft skills and assessment preparations. On April 11, the Training Day will take place, at which you are able to attend several training sessions such as Group Dynamics and Online Assessments: how does it work for you?
