Captain Blackbeard is searching for a buried treasure with his crew. However, the pirate has a terrible memory and forgot the name of the island on which this treasure can be found. Luckily, he has put the name of the island somewhere on the internet. The link that leads to the island can be found with the help of solving the puzzle below. He created this puzzle for situations like these, but Blackbeard does not have the solution to the puzzle. Therefore, he is asking you to solve the puzzle and find out what the name of the island is where the treasure is hidden. Can you figure out what is hidden in the Nonogram? Written by: Patrick Floor
A small remark, try to color the squares as good as possible!
The purpose of the puzzle is to color the grid with black and white squares. Beside each row and column, the number of uninterrupted black squares are given. For example, if the numbers 7 1 3 7 are given for a row then the order of black and white squares is as follows: first of all 7 black squares are standing next to each other, then 1, 3 and finally 7 black squares. Between each uninterrupted black square set at least one white square can be found. Furthermore, there could be white squares in front and behind the first and last black square in a row or column. To the right, you can find an example of a 5×5 nonogram and how to solve it. For a more in-depth explanation on how nonograms work and techniques used to solve nonograms, please have a look at https://www.puzzlemuseum.com/griddler/gridins.htm.
